I have a functioning system with 10.13.4. It has two discrete SSD's, primary & backup, that are used to boot the system & OSX. Everything was working except for USB 3.0. I used Multibeast to install some USB3.0 options for 3rd party USB support & 7/8/9 support. After I rebooted audio was inoperative & USB3.0 still did not work. Now I boot the system from the backup SSD and then select the primary OSX drive in Clover and audio works fine.

My question is where do I look to find out what...

Hi, I installed yesterday my first hackintosh without any problem but I have only one problem, no audio.
I have a Z370 HD3 mobo with i5 8400 and gtx 1080. Everything is working well but the audio not.
10.13.6 High Sierra.

Good morning, it's the first time I write and this is my first Hackintosh, if I'm wrong I beg your pardon, the hardware I used is: Gigabyte z370 hd3p, Cpu i5 8400, Asus Geforce gtx 1050, 8 GB ram, crucial , ssd 128 gb, I installed High Sierra 10.13.5, I have a problem with the incoming audio, I hear noise or I can not configure it. Hey guys,

I was trying to avoid making a new post for this, but couldn't fix my issue after spending all day doing what other people have said.

Now, this is where I am:
Intel NUC Gen6 i3 SYH
New install High Sierra
Latest (today) clover
Latest MultiBeast

I don't see any audio devices, ever.

I have tried virtually all the ALC drivers to no avail.

See the attached screenshot (photo) it shows my clover bootloader settings, where it recognises my audio device... but I can never see anything...

Hello,

My PC is
I7-8700k
Asus z370-H gaming
16 G.SKill Rams
GTX 1080TI
I followed the Unibest guide to install Mac on my PC and it worked but when I tried to go post install and make audio work it does't

I installed 100/200/300 Series and 200/370 Series first time and I rebooted but the audio didn't work, after that I tried to install ALC1220A (Asus ROB STRIX Only) and this also didn't work.

May I have some help to complete this journey ?

Hi,

I recently build a new Hackintosh CustoMac mATX based on the latest Buyer's Guide. Unfortunately I have no Audio Support. My MainBoard is the Gigabyte H370M DS3H.
It should have a Soundchip RealTek ALC887 with 7.1 Channel
I'm running High Sierra 10.13.6.

Hi,
I had a Dell Inspiron 7370 laptop. The audio is working fine with latest AppleALC and Lilu kext. However, when I use AppleALC with the right inject id (13 and 28), the CPU temp goes up and the frequency stays around 3.7 GHz. I also tried AppleHDA Patcher, which is similar to using AppleALC with id=3 (which it can recognize but no sound). Besides no sound, the CPU has the exact same issue. I don't know why here are three hdmi output I can select.
I just have 1 monitor connected to GPU and there is only 1 hdmi port on the GPU.
So can I disable two of these three output? because there's only one output works.

I saw a guy with the same board on the forum who fixed his audio but seemed to have no idea how he did it and didn't post his fix. Anyone have any leads? If I fix the Audio on my own, I will be as detailed as possible on how I fixed it. Audio is pretty much the last piece of my 2 day long puzzle.

1.When i chose "Internal Speakers" for output the audio works fine but if I plug out the audio jack and the speakers are no longer connected i can still change the volume like when the speakers were plugged in. Is that normal? Coming from the windows environment where it will tell if nothing is plugged.
